What's up with the game?. Partis Temporus is a spell that creates a magical opening in time for a short amount of time (thus it’s a temporary spell). The game therefore is based in a town where the separation between worlds has left a gap to allow visitors to be pulled in, and sent out of. It is a multi-gen fandom game, based in a darker setting. Is this place real?. No. This isn’t based on one specific place, but rather they are pulled out of their own time and ‘world’ and dropped into another one. People in the town of Partis Temporus (those not ‘pulled’ there) are dressed in a peculiar style, mainly the middle ages. There is no specific ‘accent’ to identify them as one nation or another, this place simply ‘exists’ as if there is nothing around it but itself. Who is this 'someone'. S/he is not any canon character from the books. This person is someone that poses an obvious threat to at least a few of those that have been brought to this place. However, we are not currently naming, names or giving this away, what fun is that? Are they a playable character. No. S/he will be mod controlled throughout the entire game. However you can choose to play followers eventually (when/if we allow them) if that is your wish. Is magic the same at least?. Yes and no. Your character cannot leave the town, floo attempts will take you to various places throughout the town and apparation will either lead to splinching or random locations in the town as well. The 'Unforgivable' spells do not work here regardless of who casts them and many places that were once available in Hogsmeade are suddenly boarded up and unusable. How do they get here?. No one knows for sure how the spell works or what happened, but characters are waking up all over the town. If your character does not wake up or appear in either the Three Broomsticks or the Hogshead, they will be directed to one or the other by a townsperson where the current owners (or mods) will assign rooms. Are they alone in their rooms?. They are until they choose to change this or the need comes to share rooms. Family members may share rooms upon request, however 'non family members' will find this much more difficult than those of blood relation. What do they do in the town?. Characters may do anything. Some may try and accept it for a time, some may try and storm the castle or form rebellion groups, and some may do a combination and attempt to join in the town's daily life to pass the time. It is entirely up to you and your character interaction to choose the path of your character. Well WHEN is the town?. Good question. No 'year' specifically has been given because there is technically no 'time' here. So the only thing that will matter is the month and day. From the dress however any wizard/witch that is a scholar may guess it's around the middle ages (though that is merely the appearance). Can they buy things? Do they have things here?. The people brought here have only what was on them when they 'left' their time and arrived here. That means if they didn't have their wand, it's not here with them. They can purchase things while here, the someone has given them all a bag of gold to accommodate them for a time, but that is not going to refill and it will empty quickly in these times. Prices are not what they are in the modern day. Can they get pregnant, attack each other, *fill in the black thing*?. Characters can arrive pregnant, become pregnant, they can attack one another (through non fatal magic) and the like. However, any plot that will affect the main premise (rebellion groups trying to attack the castle, near death attacks etc) need to be run by the mods first. Are the people in the town magical?. Ah. Good question. No they are not, at least not the majority of them. There are witches and wizards throughout the town that are friendly and that will help, but there are also a lot that will not help and that keep to themselves. I have more question!.
